Delete an Instance

Delete an Budget Manager instance that you no longer want to configure or monitor.

Instances of Budget Manager can be deleted by:
  • users assigned to the Manager role.
  • any user who is assigned to an AM Admin role that has been granted access to the instance by a Manager or who added the instance of Budget Manager.

AM users that were pulled into Control when the instance was added are not removed from Control.

  1. Choose one of the following options:
    • Click the Monitor tab.
    • Click the Configure tab.
  2. Choose one of the sub-menus listed under the Allocation Manager menu located on the left-hand side of the web page.
  3. Click Manage Instances.
    Budget Manager instances that have been previously added are listed on the left hand side of the dialog box.

  4. Click next to the name of the instance that you want to delete.
  5. Click Remove.
    The instance is removed. Any users who had access to the instance no longer have access to it. The following notification is displayed to any currently logged in users that had access to the Budget Manager instance: 
    Your view is updated to reflect the privilege changes in cluster: INSTANCE
    where INSTANCE is the name of the Allocation Manager instance.
  6. Click Close.
