Add/Edit Filter

Create and edit virtual filters in Inspire Cast.

  1. Click the Casting tab.
  2. Click the Components icon.

  3. Click the Add/Edit Filter icon.
  4. Click any spot on the running system to create the filter.
    The filter is created. The total number of filters is displayed above the Filter icon.


  5. To edit the filter, use the microdialog options to define the type of filter and pore size, thickness, and side length.


  6. Optional: To create more filters, repeat steps 4 and 5.
  7. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.

Microdialog Options

Define the type and pore size, thickness, and size of the filter.

Option Description
Type

Choose from cellular and foam and the respective pore size (cells per square inch for cellular and pores per inch for foam).
Thickness

Enter the thickness.
Size

Enter the side length.
