Introduction

CAUTION:
The mechanical analysis context of Flux will no longer be available in the near future; all the features of this context are fully available in the Data import/export context. The mechanical analysis context remains available in advanced mode.

The supports and computation methods were presented in the previous part.

For each computation method, it is possible to make several exports, as explained below.

The exports are accessible through the menu Force computation > Export force for … or through the icon .

Export force for OptiStruct

The command export force for OptiStruct allows exporting the forces harmonics computed with the method Computation of surface magnetic forces on rotating machine imported mesh into a Nastran format file with the extension .FEM.

Export force for Nastran

The command export force for Nastran is equivalent to the previous and generate a Nastran format file with .BULK extension.

Export force for VirtualLab

The command export force for VirtualLab allows exporting temporal forces computed with the method Computation of surface magnetic forces on Flux mesh into a file with .UNV format.

Export force into a data file

The command export force into a data file allows exporting temporal/static forces computed with one of the three methods into a data file with .DAT extension.

Export force for HyperMesh

The command export force for HyperMesh allows exporting temporal or static forces or forces harmonics computed with one of the three methods into a Nastran or OptiStruct format file adapted to HyperMesh software.

This export is the most complete in terms of options and the most adapted to export to OptiStruct or HyperMesh.
