Component Test Rigs

The Automotive solution in MotionView provides Auto Entities, such as springs, dampers and tires, to model components commonly employed in vehicle suspensions. To understand the behavior of these entities, component test rigs can be used to explore the entities' force-deflection, force-velocity, and other characteristics.

Available Component Test Rigs

The next section illustrates the steps to assemble an AutoSpring test rig model. The same steps can be used to create test rig models for the other auto entities listed above.

The AutoTire test rig however follows a slightly different approach, and therefore has been illustrated in separate sections.
