Auto E-Line Creation Tutorial

This section of the document will walk you through the Auto E-Line Creation steps.

For the tutorial purpose, you will create E-Line connector locations for between the following components:

• Control Panel Upper and IP Substrate
• Dashboard Panel and IP Substrate

1. By default, Auto method radio button will be selected.
2. Click Components button.
   Component selection panel will activate.

   From graphics area, select Control Panel Upper and IP Substrate and click proceed

3. Click Geometric Lines button.
   Line selection panel will activate.

   From graphics area, select the line present between the selected component and click proceed.

4. Enter 30 for Spacing and Search Distance.
5. Select Rattle from E-Line Type drop down list.
6. Select In plane to master from Gap Direction drop down list.
7. Keeping the other values default, click Create
   This should create the connector locations highlighted in yellow as shown below.

8. Similarly, repeat above steps to create a Squeak line between Dashboard Panel and IP Substrate.
