Altair HyperLife Weld Certification 2022.3 Release Notes
New Features
- Random Response Fatigue based on IEC specification
- Random response fatigue workflow specified by IEC which is intended for railway vehicle industry, has been implemented in HyperLife. With this release, only shell element models for welded and unwelded structures are supported.
- Static Evaluation Support with FKM Regulation for Unwelded Parts
- Static evaluation with FKM regulation for unwelded parts was available before with limited support on Windows. With this release, this is tested and validated for both Windows and Linux.
Resolved Issues
- The issue with stress amplitude being reported incorrectly in reports with Large Ansys models has been resolved.
- The issue with performance during stress query has been resolved.
- With EUROCODE regulation, resultant output and cumulative resultant output equations have been rectified and updated.
- The issue with missing data in Text Output has been resolved.
- The issue with missing Tensor components for FKM unwelded parts evaluation has been resolved.
Known Issues
- There is a known issue in the Load Map tool when the subcase is sorted before applying the scale factors. The input scale factors are then taken incorrectly. This is not an issue if the scale factor is applied before sorting the subcase. This inconsistent behavior will be fixed in the upcoming release.
- There is a known issue with derived subcases created in the Loadcase tool not being available in the Load Map tool. This issue will be addressed and resolved in the upcoming release.
- With FKM regulation, the combined report for Welded and Unwelded is incorrect and inconsistent when reports are generated separately for Welds and Unwelded. This issue will be resolved in the upcoming release.
- There is a known issue with second order tetrahedral element models not being detected by the tool. This issue is being investigated and fixed in the upcoming release.
