Tracing

Use the Tracing tool to trace system, component, and node entities during animation.

Line tracing for metal forming can also be performed by selecting nodes directly on the model or by importing a trimmed line definition. When an object is traced, an outline of the object is left behind at certain intervals along the path of motion.

From the Annotations toolbar, click Tracing .

Note: You can also select Tracing from the Annotations menu.
