Installation Modes

Different modes

Install Flux on a machine using either graphical user interface (GUI) mode or silent mode.

The choice of installation modes allows for flexibility in selecting the installation mode that best suits your needs and environment.

GUI mode

The graphical user interface (GUI) mode installation is in the form of a GUI wizard with step-by-step instructions.

Silent mode

A silent mode installation installs Flux without requiring any user interaction. The installer makes use of a response file that contains the installation options to run the installation from start to end without any user input.
