*metadatamarkbool

Creates bool metadata on the entities on the specified mark.

Syntax

*metadatamarkbool entity_type mark_id name value

HyperMesh Tcl Modify Command

Creates bool metadata on the entities on the specified mark.

entity_type: The type of entities contained on the mark. The undef entity type is used to store metadata on the model itself.
mark_id: The ID of the mark containing the entities to which the metadata will be added. Valid values are 1 and 2.
name: The name by which the metadata will be referenced.
value: The Boolean value assigned to the metadata (0 or 1).

To add metadata named Bool_Val with the value 0 to elements ID 1-100:

*createmark elems 1 1-100
*metadatamarkbool elems 1 "Bool_Val" 0

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:

if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
   # Handle error
}
