Volume Heat Loads

In thermal analysis, simulate internal heat generation and internal heat absorption in volumes.

A positive volume heat value indicates a heat source, and a negative volume heat value indicates a heat sink.

1. In the Project Tree, click on a Thermal analysis branch to open the Analysis Workbench.
2. On the workbench toolbar, click the (Volume heat) icon.
   The Volume heat dialog will open.
3. On the modeling window, click to select specific parts on the model.
4. Specify volume heat units and value.
5. Click OK to create.
