SnRD Post Processing Tutorial

Below are the steps to process results using SnRD Main Tab.

  1. Once SnRD Post tab is active, click against Model File.
    A file browser option opens. Browse and select Tutorial_IP_SNR_Model.fem from the folder which was created during Process Parameters step.
  2. Since the Pre-output CSV file is located in the same folder, this will be picked automatically by SnRD.
  3. Click Add under Result File(s) section.
    A file browser option opens. Browse and select Tutorial_IP_SNR_Model.pch and Tutorial_IP_SNR_Model.h3d files. These output files are generated once you solves the solver deck After result file is selected, a working window displays while reading the file data.
  4. Check the boxes against Subcase 1 (MTRAN) and Subcase 2 (Combined) under Active column.
  5. Click against Save Session File option.
    A file browser option displays. Browse and select the required file location to save the session file and related files.
  6. Select Rattle and Squeak from Analysis Type drop down list.
  7. Select All from Line(s) to analyze drop down list.
  8. Enter 0 as the value for % statistical evaluation.
  9. Select Full Analysis under Session Type.
    After making the necessary selections, the tab should be as shown below.

  10. Click Execute .
    After clicking Execute, the results processing is started and a working window pops up.

    Once the execution completes, a confirmation window will display with the evaluation status. Click Close to close the user message.

    Switch to Page 1, which contains the summary for the thermal loading and the squeak and rattle summary. It can be observed that the line ID 19567042 has the maximum relative displacement of value 1.78 mm

  11. Perform the risk and root cause analysis for the dynamic loading as shown in below sections -
