Correction of geometric defects by type

Before starting

It is necessary to open the context for healing of CAD geometry as follows:

Step Action

Pass to the healing mode via the menu Geometry and click on Context healing of CAD geometry
→ The healing mode for geometry is activated.
Note: Click on to go back.

Cut line on point

To cut the line on a point:

Step Action
1

Activate the command via the menu Healing > Cut line > Cut line on point

→ A dialog box Cut line ... is opened.

Fill in the fields:

  • choose the number of line to cut
  • choose the number of point on line to cut

Validate the information:

  • click on OK
→ The line is cut into two.

Cut two lines on their intersection

To cut two lines on their intersection:

Step Action

Activate the command via the menu Healing > Cut line > Cut two lines on their intersection
→ A dialog box Cut line ... is opened.

Fill in the fields:

  • choose the first line number
  • choose the second line number

Validate the information:

  • click on OK
→ The two lines are cut.

Extend line to point

To extend the line to a point:

Step Action

Activate the command via the menu Healing > Extend line > Extend line to point
→ A dialog box Extend line ... is opened.

Fill in the fields:

  • choose the number of line to extend
  • choose the number of point to reach

Validate the information:

  • click on OK
→ The line is extended.

Extend line to line

To extend the line to other line:

Activate the command via the menu Healing > Extend line > Extend line to line
→ A dialog box Extend line ... is opened.

Fill in the fields:

  • choose the number of line to extend
  • choose the number of line to reach
  • choose the number of point to extend

Validate the information:

  • click on OK
→ The line is extended.

Reduce continuous lines in one line

To reduce continuous lines in one line:

Step Action

Activate the command via the menu Healing > Reduce continuous lines in one line
→ A dialog box Reduce … is opened.

Fill in the fields:

  • enter the numbers of lines to reduce
  • choose the reduce type

Validate the information:

  • click on OK
→ The lines are reduced in one line.

Merge two lists of lines

To merge two lists of lines:

Step Action

Activate the command via the menu Healing > Merge two lists of lines
→ A dialog box Merge … is opened.

Fill in the fields:

  • enter the numbers of lines to be replaced
  • enter the numbers of lines to replace

Validate the information:

  • click on OK
→ The lines are replaced.
