 Path to the location of the Multiscale Designer installation.

Comments

  1. OptiStruct will automatically use the Multiscale Designer installation within the same Mechanical Solvers installation from which OptiStruct is being run. If you want to use a different Multiscale Designer installation, then the MDSDIR entry can be used.
  2. The MATMDS Bulk Data Entry references the ASSIGN entries, which point to the corresponding material model data files from Multiscale Designer.
  3. MDSDIR can also be defined in the OptiStruct Configuration File.
