Property Collectors Panel

Use the Property Collectors panel to create property collectors, which are used to assign physical properties to entities.

Location: Property Collectors toolbar button

Create Subpanel

Option Action
prop name = Specify a name for the new property collector.
color Select a color for the entity.
type = Select a property type.
Tip: Use this option to filter property types by element dimension or application.
card image / no card image / same as
Select a card image.
card image
Select a card image.
no card image
Do not use a card image.
same as
Select a collector that already uses the desired card image.
material = Select an existing material to assign to the new property collector.
reject Undo the most recent action.

Update Subpanel

Option Action
props Select the property collectors you wish to update.

Assign Subpanel

Option Action
elems Select the elements to which you wish to assign a property collector.
type = Select a property type.
Tip: Use this option to filter property types by element dimension or application.
property = Select an existing property collectors. If none display, you must first create some.

Command Buttons

Button Action
create Create the new property collector.
create/edit Create the new property collector and open the Card Edit panel.
update Change the selected property collectors to have the characteristics currently defined on the subpanel.
update/edit Change the selected property collectors to have the characteristics currently defined on the subpanel, and open the Card Edit panel.
reset Reset all of the fields on the subpanel to the selected collector's original characteristics.
assign Assign the chosen property to the selected elements.
unassign Remove all of the property assignments from the selected elements.
review Select a property in the property = field, then click review to see its current characteristics.
reject Undo the most recent assign action.
