hwIDataFile GetSubcaseIDList

Returns a list of the IDs of all subcases.

hwIDataFile_handle GetSubcaseIDList

Description

Files that do not support subcases will return success, but the list argument will be empty.

Example

To get the list of IDs of available subcases from a data file:

hwi GetSessionHandle mySessionName
mySessionName GetDataFileHandle myDataFile "modal_participation.f06"
set subcase_id_list [myDataFile GetSubcaseIDList]

Errors

Success (0) or an error code.

3 = HW_InvalidHandle The specified data file handle is invalid.
