    • by subsets or parts (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to these entities are used to define the surface)
    • by submodels (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to parts in the listed submodels are used to define the surface)
    • by properties or materials (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to these entities are used to define the surface)

    • with other surfaces
  2. All nodes must belong to a shell element, a brick element or a triangular shell element.
  3. A surface cannot be defined using Madymo surfaces.
