FE geometry is topology on top of mesh, meaning CAD and mesh exist as a single entity. The purpose of FE geometry
is to add vertices, edges, surfaces, and solids on FE models which have no CAD geometry.
These are the main HV tools for interrogating a set of parameters within a
geometric domain. They are particularly focused on the analysis of 3D and 4D (time
series) result sets and contain numerous options for fully investigating the result
parameters. Since they are the core HV tools, they work exactly as described the in
the normal HV documentation, links to which are provided. One tool of particular
interest to the investigation of large scale geoscience models is the extremely
powerful Section Cut tool.
