Connect Design Spaces to Structures with Tie Contacts
Design spaces can also be connected to structural elements using tie-based contacts.
Before you begin, you must have created at least one design space.

From the Design Space ribbon, click the
Tie tool.

On the guide bar, click
to define vicinity tolerance and reverse angle options.
By default, they are set the same as in the Adhesives tool. -
Click
to generate Tie contacts.
Note: The Tie tool generates contacts only between the selected design space and nearby structural elements.
