*sections()

Syntax

*sections (id,name,color)

Type

HyperMesh HMASCII Command

Description

Creates a section in HMASCII format.

Additional attribute or dataname information is provided separately, see referenced commands.

Inputs

id

The ID of the section.

name

The name of the section.

color

The color of the section. Valid values are 1-64.

Example

To create a section with ID 100, name "my-entity", and color 1:

*sections(100,"my-entity",1)

Errors

Incorrect usage results in an import error.
