Thermal Event

Define a Temperature (Linear Static) loadcase.

Using the Thermal Event tool, you can setup a temperature or thermal loadcase to solve and understand Squeak and Rattle issues.

1. From Setup group, select Thermal Event from selection list.

   A guide bar opens.
2. Select node(s) where the load should be applied to in the graphics area.
3. Enter the temperature value.
4. Click .

This creates a Thermal event loadcase at the selected node and all the relevant cards are created and listed in the model browser automatically.

A user message appears to ensure thermal property definition in the model. Click OK to continue.
