HM_ExtAPI::CreateFreeGeomPoint()

Creates new free point in the HyperMesh database.

Syntax

HM_EntityComponent comp
);

HyperMesh Ext API Function

Description

If the function succeeds, the return value is true. If the function fails, the return value is false. To get extended value information, call HM_ExtAPI::GetLastErrorCode().

Requires including hm_extapi.h.

Inputs

new_point: [out] - Handle to new free point object.
point3d: [in] - Point coordinates.
comp: [in] - If not NULL, then components where the point is created. If NULL, then the point is created in current component.
