*CE_DetermineConnectionType

Determines the seam connectors' connection type.

Syntax

*CE_DetermineConnectionType mark_id option

HyperMesh Tcl Modify Command

Determines the seam connection type, such as overlapped, lapped, T joint, and butt joint, and appends the information to connectors as metadata.

mark_id: The mark containing the seam connectors. Valid values are 1 and 2.
option: Reserved for future use. Must be set to 1.

To determine the connection type for the seam connectors 101, 102, 103:

*createmark connectors 1 101 102 103
*CE_DetermineConnectionType 1 1

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:

if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
   # Handle error
}
